Dr. Pronych of Core General Dentistry was recently appointed as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). The Academy of General Dentistry is an organization of general dentists who are dedicated to professional development and continuing education.
To earn a Fellowship Award, Dr. Pronych had to earn a minimum of 500 approved continuing dental education credits and pass a comprehensive 400-question examination. This is quite an accomplishment and well above the standard 40 continuing dental education credits every two years, which the state of New Hampshire requires.
As a Fellow, she has accepted the charge to keep abreast of advances in dentistry for the benefit of patients and the betterment of dentistry. Her role is to serve as a mentor and leader to other dentists pursuing continuing dental education. A Fellow sets examples in their community with their hard work, concern, and involvement in the dental profession.
In addition to her office hours with Core General Dentistry, Dr. Pronych also provides oral health care to residents in several long-term care facilities in the seacoast area. She received a Fellowship in Geriatric Dentistry from the University of Minnesota in 2000 and is also a part-time instructor at the New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, NH and conducts research through the Endowment for Health.
Dr. Pronych enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, family and friends. She is accepting new patients and her office can be reached at 603-580-7334.
